Satco Lighting 67-135 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) Does the Satco 67-135 emergency light work on its own, or does it need another unit?
The 67-135 is a remote head, not a self-contained emergency unit. It carries no battery of its own and runs off the low-voltage backup output of a host emergency unit or an inverter that has spare remote capacity. If you need a standalone fixture that mounts, charges, and illuminates on its own, this is the wrong part. Use it where you want extra coverage down a corridor or in a stairwell without adding a second battery unit.
    2) Can I add the Satco 67-135 to an emergency unit I already have installed?
Only if that unit publishes remote capacity and its remote output voltage matches this head. The 67-135 is a low-voltage backup remote, so the host unit's battery has to carry the extra load of both lamps for the full required duration. Check the host unit's rated remote wattage against the draw of the two heads before you tie in; adding remotes to a unit sized only for its own lamps will shorten runtime.
    3) How many lamp heads does the Satco 67-135 remote emergency light have?
Two. It is a dual head remote, so a single wiring run gives you two aimable lamps for covering both directions of a corridor or a stair landing from one mounting point.
    4) What color is the Satco 67-135 emergency light?
White only. The 67-135 ships in a white housing, so it blends with typical painted drywall and standard ceiling tile in offices, schools, and multi-family corridors. If you are matching a dark or architectural finish, this one will not match.
    5) What part number do I order for the Satco dual head remote emergency light?
Satco Lighting 67-135, also printed as 67/135 on the carton. Both refer to the same white dual head remote emergency light. Quote the full number when you are matching heads already installed in a building, since Satco's remote head range is numbered in close sequence.
How fast can I get the Satco Lighting 67-135 delivered?
