The S23150 is a Type B ballast bypass lamp, so the existing HID ballast has to come out of the circuit and line voltage goes straight to the socket. It runs on 100-277V. If you want a lamp that plugs into an existing HID ballast without rewiring, this is not it, you'd want a ballast-compatible (Type A) HID replacement instead.

Wattage is field selectable at 63, 54, or 45 watts, and color temperature is selectable on the lamp as well (Satco's ColorQuick and PowerQuick features).
