    1) Can a teacher lock the Schlage B563 deadbolt from inside the room?
    Not from the inside. The B563 is a classroom function deadbolt: the bolt is thrown or retracted by the key outside, and the inside turn unit will retract the bolt only. Once fully thrown, the bolt automatically deadlocks. Nobody in the room can throw it, which is the whole point of the function on a corridor door where you want the room secured only by someone holding a key.     Both are covered.     3) If I order the Schlage B563 with a small format interchangeable core, is it still ANSI Grade 2?
