1) Will the Schlage 61-505 screw pack work on a 2 inch thick door?
A 2 inch leaf is inside the range. The 61-505 combination screw pack is specified for doors over 1-3/4 inches up to 2-1/4 inches thick, used with the Schlage B581/71. Measure the finished leaf at the lock prep, including any added skin or panel, because that is the dimension the screw lengths are cut for. Over 2-1/4 inches and this pack no longer reaches.
2) I have a standard 1-3/4 inch commercial door. Do I need the Schlage 61-505 screw pack?
No. The 61-505 is the thick-door fastener set, covering leaves over 1-3/4 inches through 2-1/4 inches. At exactly 1-3/4 inches, which is the standard commercial door thickness, the opening sits below this pack's range and the screws would be longer than the prep needs. Measure the leaf itself, not the frame or the stop, before deciding.
3) We added a panel over our entry doors and the deadbolt screws no longer reach. Is there a Schlage part for that?

It ships as one combination pack: two B520-663, four C603-897, two B600-066, and one B600-018. You order 61-505 and get all four items together, not the individual numbers. It covers the fastener side of a B581/71 installation on a thick door only. The lock body, cylinder, and strike are separate orders.
5) Can I use the Schlage 61-505 screw pack on any Schlage deadbolt?
Only on the B581/71. Schlage specifies the 61-505 for those models, and the screw lengths and thread sizes in a combination pack are cut to the lock they serve. If you are fitting a different lock body or a different Schlage series on a thick door, the 61-505 is not the pack for it even when the door thickness matches. It is a commercial-line part, not a residential one.
6) Which finish of the Schlage 61-505 screw pack should I order, and does it change what is in the bag?
Two finishes are offered, 605 bright brass and 626 satin chrome, and the finish is the only thing that differs between them. The pack contents are the same either way. Order it to match the finish of the B581/71 it is going into so any exposed heads match the trim. On a building being standardized, 626 satin chrome is the usual commercial specification and 605 is the polished brass look.
