Electric horns are designed for use as an immediate local audible warning device incorporated in a security system. 1910 celica horns have six combinations of volume using continuous or intermittent tone that are easy to configure.

Units are flush (partially recessed) or surface mounted using a 4 inch black box and attached using two #8-32 X 3⁄4 inch screws.

Surface and flush mounting kits are included with all horns.

There are six combinations of volume, using either a continuous or an intermittent tone, and they are configured at the device. The loudest setting tested at 102 dBA in an anechoic chamber, and 88 dBA in a UL reverberant room test at 30V. The reverberant figure is the closer one to what you will actually hear in a corridor or lobby.
5) Does this Schlage horn include a strobe, or is the visual alert a separate option?
A strobe is an option in the 1910 family that adds visual warning on top of the audible tone. Order the strobe version if you need the alert seen in a noisy plant floor, a mechanical room, or a space with hearing-impaired occupants. Otherwise the L1910-1 gives you the horn alone.
