Schlage ND96 Vandlgard Storeroom Lock — Grade 1 Cylindrical Lever Lock

The Schlage ND96 is a heavy-duty commercial storeroom lock built for facilities where controlled, key-only access is required. The outside lever is always disengaged — entry is by key only. The inside lever is always unlocked for immediate egress. Also available with Request to Exit (RX). Vandlgard trim features a lever that freely rotates up and down when locked, protecting the chassis from excessive force and preventing vandalism-driven lockout.

Default Configuration

• Style: Same lever, rose, and finish on both sides with coordinating latch and strike
• Latch: 13-247 — 2-3/4" backset, 1-1/8" x 2-1/4" square corner faceplate
• Strike: 10-025 — ANSI, no box, 1-1/4" x 4-7/8" (1-3/16" lip length)
• Door thickness: 1-3/4"
• Keying (P6, P, and T cylinders): KD — Keyed different
• Keys included: Two nickel silver cut keys per lock (P6 and P cylinders)

The Schlage ND Series delivers a full range of commercial lock options — mechanical, electrified, and electronic — on a common ANSI 161 cylindrical door preparation, making them interchangeable across new construction and retrofit applications.
