The 3M Scotch Vinyl Mastic Pad 2200 Series is a conformable, self-sealing insulation pad designed for electrical connections rated up to 600V. At 125 mil thick, it wraps and conforms to irregular surfaces - cable splices, connectors, and terminations - creating a moisture-tight, abrasion-resistant barrier. Backed by polyvinyl chloride with a mastic adhesive system, it resists moisture, alkalis, acids, copper corrosion, UV exposure, and weathering. Supplied 50 pads per case for efficient job-site use.

How to Use

1. Clean and dry the connection or splice area before application.
2. Peel the pad from its liner and center it over the connection point.
3. Press and conform the pad firmly around the surface, ensuring full contact with no air gaps.
4. For high-exposure applications, overwrap with 3M Scotch 33+ or 88 vinyl electrical tape to secure edges.
