With the included location remotes you get continuity and an ID number at the far end, so you walk the runs once. The Scout Pro 2 is a verification tester: it confirms the run is wired correctly and continuous, reporting opens, shorts, miswires, split pairs and shield continuity, and it IDs which drop is which. It does not measure bandwidth or certify a run to a Cat 6 performance standard. For punch-down, jack replacement, troubleshooting a dead drop, or labeling an unlabeled closet, that is the whole job. If a general contractor owes a certification report on a new install, a verification tester is not the instrument that produces it.
