The Metallics JSRB10 is a 10-32 thread screw, which is the standard machine thread used for device mounting and grounding holes in steel outlet boxes, switch and receptacle yokes, and plaster rings. The 5/8 inch length gives enough engagement for a device ear or a ground pigtail lug without bottoming out behind the box wall.

Mechanically it fits, since it is a 10-32 thread matching the tapped grounding hole in standard steel boxes. But it is a plain round head slotted machine screw, not a green coded grounding screw. Where an inspector expects the green hex head grounding screw, order that part specifically and keep the JSRB10 for general device and bracket mounting.

Slotted. The JSRB10 takes a flat blade driver, so it suits electricians who work out of a single flat-tip screwdriver or a stubby blade in a tight box. If your crew standardizes on Phillips or combination-head device screws, this is not the one to order.
