Metallics JSTPO5 Screw 10 x 3/4 OV PH TS 18-8 SS (Jar 100)

The JSTPO5 is a #10 x 3/4 inch screw with an oval head and a Phillips drive, made from 18-8 stainless steel. Oval head means it sits partly countersunk with a low crown above the surface, so it needs a countersunk or chamfered hole to seat properly. If you need a fully flush surface, a flat head is the better choice; if you are fastening through a flat punched plate, a pan or truss head will bear better.

18-8 stainless (the common 304-family austenitic grade) is the standard choice for general exterior, damp, and wash-down work, and it will not rust-stain a finished surface the way a plated steel screw does. For coastal salt-spray or pool chemical exposure, a 316 stainless fastener is the step up. Note that stainless is softer than hardened carbon steel, so drive it slowly to avoid camming out the Phillips recess or snapping the head.

The JSTPO5 ships as a jar of 100 screws. The jar pack is the usual MRO and service-van format, so it suits a stock shelf or truck bin rather than a single large installation where a bulk box makes more sense.

They're a general-purpose mounting screw for sheet metal work: fastening cover plates, device and junction box covers, straps, clamps, and brackets to enclosures or studs where you want a finished-looking head and corrosion resistance. The 3/4 inch length gives enough thread engagement for sheet metal and thin substrate while staying short enough not to foul anything behind the panel.
