Metallics JSS834 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How many screws come in a jar of Metallics JSS834?
One hundred screws per jar. Metallics packages the JSS834 as a jar of 100, which is the ordering unit, so an electrician restocking a van gets a full jar rather than loose counts.
2) Is the Metallics JSS834 screw steel or stainless?
Steel with a black finish, not stainless. For damp, exterior, or corrosive locations you want a stainless or galvanized 8-32 screw instead; black steel is for dry interior use.
3) What driver do I need for the Metallics JSS834 cup point set screw?
It drives with a flat blade. The JSS834 is a slotted screw with a cup point, so a straight-tip screwdriver sized to the slot is all you need, no hex key or bit required.
