Metallics SPK101 Screw Kit 500Pc Ov Switch SS-znP(Trey 1)

The kit is all 6-32 thread, 32 threads per inch, which is the standard machine screw thread used on switch and receptacle wall plates and on the mounting ears of standard devices. Lengths run 1/2, 1 and 1-1/4 inch, so you can reach a flush plate on a standard box or pick up extra depth where the device sits back from the wall surface.

Three finishes are covered. In 6-32 x 1/2 inch you get 100 ivory, 100 white and 100 stainless. In 6-32 x 1 inch you get 75 ivory and 75 white. The 1-1/4 inch screws are zinc plated. That covers ivory and white plates plus a stainless/metal plate finish without buying three separate boxes.

No. The SPK101 kit is not Buy American compliant and is not ARRA compliant, and country of origin is listed as multiple. If your project carries a domestic sourcing clause, this kit will not satisfy it.

Metallics builds the SPK101 as a new construction kit, so the mix is weighted toward trim-out quantities across the three common plate colors. It works just as well on an MRO cart for a property manager replacing plates across a building, since the assortment covers ivory, white and stainless plates and three lengths in one tray. Field applications listed are electrical, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning work.

Steel, with the finish varying by size: the 1/2 and 1 inch screws come painted ivory and white plus a stainless finish option in 1/2 inch, and the 1-1/4 inch screws are zinc plated. Painted heads let the screw disappear into a matching plate instead of standing out against it.

Metallics offers other sizes and quantities of these switch plate screws by request. The SPK101 itself is a fixed 500 piece tray; if you need, for example, bulk 6-32 x 1/2 inch in white only, that is a separate size and quantity rather than a change to this kit.
