1) What thread size and length is the Metallics TP102SFCSI tamper-resistant screw?
It's a 6-32 x 1 inch machine screw, so machine thread (not a self-tapping sheet metal thread) at 32 threads per inch, one inch long, and it needs a tapped 6-32 hole or a 6-32 nut to pull up against. Supplied 100 pieces to the pack.
2) What driver do I need for the hex pin tamper-resistant screw head on the Metallics TP102SFCSI?
These are hex pin drive, meaning a hex socket with a pin standing up in the center of it. A plain hex key will not seat. You need a pin-in-hex (hex pin) tamper-resistant bit or key sized to the recess, and that is what keeps the fastener from being backed out with standard tools.
3) Will this ivory screw sit flush in a wall plate, or does the head stand proud?
Flat head, so it sits flush when the plate has a countersunk screw hole, which is the usual prep on device and switch plates. If your plate uses a flat-bottom (non-countersunk) hole, the head will stand slightly above the surface.
4) Why would I use tamper-resistant wall plate screws instead of the standard ones that come with the device?

5) Is a 1 inch long 6-32 screw too long for a standard device plate?
At one inch it's longer than the typical 1/2 inch plate screw, which is deliberate. The extra length reaches the device strap when the box is set back behind thick finish material, when spacers or box extenders are stacked, or on multi-gang plates over a recessed yoke. On a flush-mounted device with no setback, a one inch screw may bottom out in the strap and you'd want a shorter 6-32.
6) Do these ivory tamper-resistant screws come with the matching driver bit?
No. The TP102SFCSI pack is 100 screws only. The pin-in-hex bit or key is a separate item, so order one with the fasteners if your crew doesn't already carry pin-drive bits.
