The SharkBite UIP13 is a push-to-connect transition coupling built for rough-in plumbers who need to move from IPS PVC pipe into CTS copper, PEX, CPVC, or PE-RT tubing without soldering, clamps, unions, or glue. Available in trade sizes from 1/2" to 3/4", the coupling connects the IPS side (White Collar) to the CTS side (Mustard Collar) and is certified to 200 PSI and 200°F for demanding behind-the-wall installations. Insert the pipe, and internal stainless steel teeth grip the pipe wall while a formulated O-ring compresses to form the seal — no torch, no primer, and no mechanical fasteners required.
