Sioux Chief 630X71 PEX Copper Stub-Out Elbow with Ear
The Sioux Chief 630X71 is a Type L copper tube stub-out elbow built to bridge PEX rough-in piping with a finished copper stub-out at a wall or floor penetration. This fitting line is available in two size configurations, 1/2" x 3-1/2" and 1" x 6", so installers can match the stub-out to the fixture rough-in dimension required on the job. Because the stub-out leg is Type L copper on every size, it accepts sweat (solder) connections as well as push-fitting and compression valves, giving the installer flexibility on how the fixture supply gets terminated. An integral square strap, or "ear," is built into every size of the fitting so it can be anchored directly to a bracket or stud for a solid, rattle-free installation behind the wall.

Why Sioux Chief?
Sioux Chief builds the 630X71 stub-out elbow line from Type L copper tube across both the 1/2" x 3-1/2" and 1" x 6" sizes so it can accept sweat, push-fitting, or compression valves, giving plumbers termination flexibility while still delivering the fast rough-in advantages of a PEX supply system. The integral square strap ear means every size of the fitting mounts solidly to a bracket or stud without extra parts, keeping the stub-out square and secure through drywall and finish work. Manufactured in the United States and packaged 10 to a case, this fitting line is built for the rough-in professional who needs a dependable copper-to-PEX transition that holds its position behind the wall regardless of which stub-out size the job calls for.
