No. The 220SS needs 2 inches of material thickness minimum, in both the door and the frame, so a standard 1-3/4 inch commercial door is too thin for it. That 2 inch minimum is what the 5-1/2 inch 220 Series body requires to be routed in and stay fully concealed. For a thinner door you need a smaller SOSS invisible hinge sized to that thickness, not this one.
