1) Will a Square D PowerPacT P-Frame breaker mount in an I-Line panelboard, or does it need a bolt-on kit?
It plugs straight into an I-Line panelboard. The line side uses the I-Line connection and the breaker is secured with an I-Line bracket mounting mode, so no separate bolt-on base is needed. The load side is lug terminated, so you bring your feeders out to the lugs.
