The Stanley 55-117 10 in. Precision Molding Bar is made for removing trim, molding and baseboard with minimal damage to the wall or the trim itself. It is forged from high-carbon spring steel and heat treated, with ultra-thin polished blades and beveled claws that slip into tight gaps for mar-free removal. A flat striking face lets you tap the bar into position with a hammer before prying, making it well suited to renovation work where trim will be reinstalled. The compact 10 in. length makes it easy to control in tight spots around door and window casings, baseboards and cabinet trim. The flat striking face lets you drive the thin blade behind the trim with a hammer, then pry gently along the length of the piece to lift it without splitting or denting it.
