The Steel City GCS pre-galvanized steel gang cover is offered in 3, 4, 5 and 6 gang, ordered as 3 GCS, 4 GCS, 5 GCS and 6 GCS. Each is sold individually.
2) Will a GCS gang cover accept decorator or rocker style devices?
No. The GCS cover is punched for standard toggle switches only, one toggle opening per gang. Decorator, rocker or GFCI devices need a cover with rectangular device openings instead.
3) How do I match a GCS cover to a multi-gang switch box?
Match the gang count of the cover to the gang count of the box. A 3 GCS goes over a three-gang assembly, 4 GCS over four, and so on up to six with the 6 GCS. The cover carries the toggle openings, so the box behind it needs to be gangable sectional or a one-piece multi-gang box of the same width.
4) Is the Steel City GCS gang cover UL listed?
