No cylinder is included. The Tell EDPT-26D pull trim is supplied with the cylinder hole prepped but less cylinder, so you order the rim cylinder separately in the keyway your building already uses. Keying is specified on the order: keyed different, keyed alike for multiple openings, or none if you are supplying your own cylinder.
