Step up to the 7/16 inch (12-107) or 1/2 inch (12-108) clamp. Forcing an oversized cable into the 3/16 inch body (12-103) distorts the nylon and can pinch the jacket, so size the clamp to the cable rather than overdriving the smaller one.
