1) Do nuts, washers or hanger hardware come with the TRS7/6 rod?
No. The TRS7/6 is rod only. Order your 5/16-18 hex nuts, flat washers, rod couplings and whatever anchor or beam clamp you are hanging from separately.
2) Is the TRS7/6 threaded rod zinc plated for damp indoor locations?
It is a zinc-plated steel rod, which is the usual finish for interior hanging of conduit, strut, pipe and HVAC equipment. Zinc plating handles normal indoor humidity, but it is not a stainless or hot-dip galvanized rod, so for exterior, wet, or corrosive runs you want a hot-dip galvanized or stainless rod instead.
3) Can I cut the 6 foot threaded rod down to the drop lengths I need?
Yes, that is the normal use for a 6 foot stick. Cut to the drop you need and clean the thread at the cut end so a nut will start, either with a file, a rethreading die, or by running a nut off the cut. Threading a nut on before you cut helps chase the burr off.
