TOTO LT1535G#01 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What size cutout do I need for the TOTO LT1535G undermount sink?
The LT1535G takes a countertop cutout of 12-3/16 by 16-15/16 inches (12.1875 x 16.9375). The sink's overall footprint runs 19.6875 by 14.9375 inches, so you have roughly an inch and a half of rim overlap on each side for the counter to bear on. Lay out the cutout off the template that ships with the sink rather than off the raw numbers, since the corner radii matter on a rimless undermount.
2) Will the TOTO LT1535G work on a granite or quartz countertop?
It will, but not with what comes in the box. The mounting screw set supplied with the LT1535G is for wood countertops only. For marble, granite, or other stone tops you need TOTO mounting assembly THU410, sold separately. Order that with the sink or your fabricator will be waiting on it at install.
3) Does the TOTO LT1535G come with a drain?
No drain is included. The LT1535G ships as sink, installation template, and the wood-countertop mounting screw set only. You buy the faucet and the drain assembly separately. Since this is an overflow sink, specify a grid or pop-up drain with overflow porting, not a non-overflow drain.
4) Is this TOTO undermount sink ADA compliant for a commercial restroom?
The LT1535G is ADA compliant. It's a shallow basin, 6-5/16 inches deep, which is what lets it mount under a counter at accessible height and still leave knee clearance below. Overall height of the fixture is 8.15 inches, so figure that into your carrier and trap layout when you're chasing the knee and toe clearance envelope.
5) Where is the overflow on the LT1535G and how much water does it hold before it spills?
The overflow sits at the front of the bowl and is hidden from view, which keeps the rimless look clean. Depth to the overflow is 4-3/4 inches against a full basin depth of 6-5/16 inches. Because the overflow is front-mounted rather than at the back wall, check that your chosen drain body has the overflow port oriented to pick it up.
6) Will a 20 inch undermount sink fit on a narrow vanity top?
The LT1535G is built for exactly that problem. Front-to-back it's 14.9375 inches overall with a 13 inch basin length, and the bowl is only 6-5/16 inches deep, so it suits shallow counters and tight vanity depths where a standard deep oval won't clear the drawer boxes or the trap. Basin width is 17.6875 inches, so the capacity runs side to side rather than back.
7) What is CEFIONTECT and does it actually change maintenance on a high-traffic restroom?
CEFIONTECT is TOTO's fired-in ceramic glaze that leaves the vitreous china surface too smooth for waste and soil to grab onto. In practice it means the bowl rinses cleaner between services and your housekeeping crew leans less on harsh chemicals. It's part of the glaze, not a coating you reapply, so it doesn't need re-treatment over the life of the fixture.
8) How much does the TOTO LT1535G weigh, and can one person set it?
24.5 pounds. That's a one-person lift, but an undermount of this size still wants two sets of hands at install: one to hold the bowl up to the underside of the counter while the other runs the mounting hardware. Support it on blocking or a sink harness until the clips are torqued.
9) What color is the LT1535G and what's the part number for ordering?
Cotton White, TOTO's #01 finish code, which is why the full part number reads LT1535G#01. The G in the model designates the CEFIONTECT glazed version. Quote the complete number including the #01 suffix when you order or you may get a different color code.
