The Stockholm 81ST000 tubular lever is a 2-3/8 inch backset lock. That is the shorter of the two standard backsets, and it is the one commonly used on residential-width and multifamily interior doors. If the door is already bored at 2-3/4 inch, the cross bore sits too far in from the edge and this lock will not line up. Check the existing hole from the door edge to the center of the 2-1/8 inch cross bore before ordering a fleet of them.
