1) What is the difference between E-Mount and G-Mount on the Trimco AP600 leather wrapped pulls?
Mounting is an ordering choice: E-Mount or G-Mount. The AP600 pulls are offered with mounting for metal, wood and glass doors, so the mount you pick has to follow the door substrate, not the finish. Fasteners supplied are wood and machine screws.
2) What is a plain metal alternative to the Trimco AP635 ladder pull if the leather wrap is not wanted?
The Trimco AP635 is a 1-1/2 inch diameter leather wrapped ladder pull with straight standoffs and angled ends, offered with Black, Dark Brown or Light Brown leather. If a metal offset pull suits the opening better, the ABH AB3310 is an offset flat end door pull handle, the ABH AB3330 is an offset round end pull with custom length options, the Ives 8145EZHD is a 45 degree offset pull with heavy duty mounting hardware, and the Ives 8169 is a C style offset solid pull at 1 inch diameter.
4) For a glass storefront door, is the Trimco AP635 the right pull or should I look at something else?
The Trimco AP635 is offered in E-Mount and G-Mount versions, the G-Mount being the glass-door option, so it can be specified for a glass opening. Among the alternatives, the ABH AB7200 is a solid stainless steel flat end pull with through-bolt mounting at 7/8 inch diameter, and the Ives 8103HD also uses through bolt mounting - both through-bolt styles are aimed at doors that can be drilled for bolts rather than at a prepped glass lite.
5) Is the Trimco AP635 pull ADA compliant?
Yes. The AP635 is listed ADA Compliant, which matters on egress and public-access openings where the pull has to be operable without tight grasping or twisting. The 1-1/2 inch bar diameter with standoffs gives the graspable section.
