The Von Duprin 6223 is a heavy-duty electric strike from the trusted 6200 Series, engineered for reliable remote-release access control on doors equipped with mortise or cylindrical locksets. Constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel with an integrated faceplate and smooth keeper movement, this electric strike delivers 70 ft-lbs. of dynamic strength and has been endurance tested to 1,000,000 cycles for long-term performance in demanding commercial environments. Standard operation is 24 VDC in fail-secure mode, with field-selectable options for 12, 16, and 28 VDC as well as fail-safe mode, making it highly adaptable to a wide range of access control system requirements. The 6223 is fully UL 1034 listed, UL 294 listed, and UL 10C fire rated to 3 hours on single doors and 90 minutes on pair doors with inactive leaf, and is certified ANSI BHMA A156.31 Grade 1.
