1) Will the WAC Chamber post light fit the 3 inch post already set in my walkway?
The Chamber PM-W48620 post light mounts over a post up to 3 inches maximum diameter, so a standard 3 inch post works. The post itself is not included, and the fixture ships with minimal mounting hardware for the fitter connection. Overall the head measures 20.31 inches by 7 inches, so figure that height on top of whatever post height you set.
2) Is this WAC post light rated for direct rain and sprinkler spray?
Yes. The Chamber post light carries a Wet location rating and an IP65 rating, along with ETL and cETL listings. The LED light engine is factory sealed, so there is no lamp compartment to take on water. That covers rain, snow, and irrigation overspray on a driveway or walkway run.
3) Can I put the Chamber post light on a standard dimmer, or do I need a special one?
It dims only on an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer, and the dimming is smooth and continuous with one. A standard incandescent or MLV dimmer is the wrong control and will give you flicker or dead travel. There is no separate driver or transformer to add, the 120V AC LED technology is built in.
4) Does this post light meet dark sky and California Title 24 requirements?
