A low-profile, artful design adds a distinctive, sophisticated look in any outdoor application. Energy efficient integrated LED's provide a long-lasting maintenance-free bright and even illumination. 10ft of wire included to extend pendant up to a total of 120in. Three 12in down rods and one 6in down rod included. Additional down rods sold separately.

1) What size post does the WAC Archetype 28 inch LED post light mount on?
The Archetype post light mounts on a post of 3 inches maximum diameter, and the post itself is not included. The fixture body is 28 inches high and 7 inches wide, so plan clearance on top of the post accordingly.
2) Can the WAC Archetype 28 inch post light be installed in an exposed, rain-hit location?
Yes. It carries a Wet location rating and an IP65 rating, along with ETL and cETL listings, so direct rain exposure is fine. It is also rated for indoor use if you want the same fixture inside a covered entry or breezeway.
3) Does the Archetype LED post light need a separate driver or transformer?
No. It runs on 120V AC LED technology with the driver built in, so no remote driver or transformer is required and it mounts to a standard pancake junction box. 277V, 240V, or custom color temperature versions are available by special order.
4) What dimmer works with the WAC Archetype LED post light?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The integrated LED dims smoothly and continuously on ELV control; a standard incandescent or MLV dimmer is not the correct control for it.
5) Does the Archetype post light meet California Title 24 and dark sky requirements?
Yes on both. It is listed Title 20 and Title 24 compliant, and it is a Dark Sky fixture, which matters for municipalities with outdoor light trespass ordinances. It is not Energy Star rated.
6) Can this Archetype fixture be hung as a pendant instead of post mounted?
Yes. It ships with 10 feet of wire and down rods, three 12 inch rods plus one 6 inch rod, which lets you extend the pendant drop to a total of 120 inches. Additional down rods are sold separately if you need a different combination.

1200 lumens at 16 watts, in a 3000K warm-white tone with a flood beam spread. It is a single integrated LED source rated for an average 54,000 hours, so there is no lamp to replace over the life of the fixture.

It is a hardwired fixture, not plug-in, so it needs a supply circuit and a junction box at the mounting point. The single LED light source is integrated and included, so nothing additional needs to be ordered for lamping.
