Yes. The Manhattan FM-13120 runs on 120V AC LED technology with no separate driver or transformer, so it mounts directly to a pancake junction box. Its backplate is 15 inches across, which covers a standard ceiling box opening with room to spare.
2) What dimmer works with the WAC Manhattan LED flush mount?
Use an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer. The Manhattan FM-13120 is ELV dimmable and dims smoothly and continuously on one; a standard incandescent or TRIAC wall dimmer is not the right control for it. Load is 36W at 120V, so a single ELV dimmer can carry several of these on one circuit.
3) Can I put this WAC Manhattan fixture in a covered porch or a bathroom?
The Manhattan FM-13120 carries a Damp location rating and an IP44 rating, so it is fine in a bathroom outside the shower enclosure or under a fully covered exterior ceiling such as a porch or breezeway. It is not rated for wet locations, so keep it out of direct rain or spray.
4) Does the WAC Manhattan FM-13120 meet California Title 24 for a residential project?
Yes, it is listed as both Title 24 compliant and Title 20 compliant, which is what a California permit set asks for on residential luminaires. It is ETL and cETL listed for the US and Canada. It puts out 2,405 lumens at 36W in a 2700K warm white, with a flood distribution diffused through a white fabric shade and polycarbonate lens. That is enough for general ambient light in a bedroom, dining area, or small living room. 2700K reads warm, close to incandescent, so it will not match 3000K or 4000K fixtures already in the space.
8) Can I get the Manhattan FM-13120 in 277V or a different color temperature?
The standard build is 120V at 2700K in Brushed Nickel (FM-13120-BN). 277V, 240V, and custom CCT are available by special order from WAC, not as off-the-shelf configurations.
9) Do the LEDs in this WAC flush mount get replaced, or is the whole fixture replaced?
The LED source is integrated, included, and not a lamp you swap. It is rated for 50,000 average hours, so for a multi-family or hospitality retrofit plan on the fixture as the service unit rather than stocking replacement bulbs.
