1) Will the WAC Interlace WS-47838 vanity light work on a standard 120V residential circuit, or does it need a commercial voltage?
Both. The Interlace WS-47838 ships with a universal input driver rated 120V, 240V or 277V, so the same fixture goes on a house circuit or a 277V commercial lighting branch without a separate part number. It is hardwired, not plug-in.
2) Can I put this WAC Interlace fixture directly over a bathtub or in a shower area?
It is rated for damp locations, listed indoor/outdoor for covered areas only, and carries an IP44 rating along with ETL and cETL. That covers a vanity wall or a bath ceiling that sees steam. It is not a wet-location fixture, so keep it out of the direct shower spray zone and off uncovered exterior walls.
3) How much wall space do I need for the 37.5 inch Interlace vanity light?
Plan for 37.5 inches of width and 6.38 inches of height. The backplate that covers the junction box is 4 inches, so the wiring outlet needs to land near the center of that run. It mounts on a wall and can be oriented either way.
4) Do I need a special dimmer for the WS-47838 Interlace LED?
