1) Will the WAC Revel WS-82962 work on a standard dimmer, or does it need a special one?
The Revel WS-82962 dims on an electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmer, not a standard incandescent/TRIAC dimmer. Pair it with an ELV-rated control and you get smooth continuous dimming; put it on the wrong dimmer type and you risk flicker or no dimming at all. It runs on 120V AC LED technology, so there is no separate driver or transformer in the circuit to match.
2) What junction box do I need for the 61.56 inch Revel LED bar light?
It is hardwired and mounts to a pancake junction box, which is what makes it workable on a wall with a shallow cavity behind it. The fixture is 61.56 inches long with a matching 61.56 inch backplate and only 2 inches deep, so the box needs to land where you want the bar centered before the drywall closes up.
3) Can this WAC Revel bar be mounted vertically beside a mirror instead of above it?
Yes. The Revel bar can go vertically, horizontally, at an angle, or on the ceiling, so a pair flanking a mirror is a normal application. Mounting method is wall, up or down. At 61.56 inches long it is a full-height run, so check your ceiling and countertop clearances before you commit to vertical.
4) Is the WS-82962 rated for a shower or a wet bath area?
Damp location rated with an IP44 rating, so it is fine for a bathroom with normal shower humidity and for covered outdoor spots like a porch or soffit. It is not wet-location rated, so keep it out of direct spray inside a shower enclosure and out of uncovered exterior locations.
5) Does the WAC Revel vanity light meet California Title 24 and ADA requirements?
It is listed ADA compliant, Title 24 compliant, and Title 20 compliant, and carries ETL and cETL listings. Note it is not Energy Star certified, which matters only if your rebate or utility program specifically requires that mark. At 2 inches deep the projection is what keeps it out of the way in an ADA-governed corridor.

7) Can I re-lamp the Revel WS-82962 later, or do I replace the whole fixture?

As ordered it is WS-82962-AL, brushed aluminum with an aluminum body, at 3000K on 120V. 277V, 240V, or a custom CCT are special-order options from WAC, so if your project is on a 277V commercial panel or the spec calls for 3500K or 4000K, that has to be quoted as a special order rather than pulled off the standard number.
9) I need matching light bars in different lengths across a building. Does the Revel come in other sizes?
Yes, the Revel bar is made in multiple lengths, and WS-82962 is the 61.56 inch size in brushed aluminum at 3000K. Because every length uses the same 2 inch deep extrusion, the same white acrylic diffuser, and 120V ELV dimming, you can standardize the look and the dimmer spec across a floor and just change the length per opening.
