Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this durable and professional grade 24V strip light delivers superior color consistency and brightness throughout the strip. Up to 80ft max run on the 1.2w/ft strips and up to 40ft on the 2.4W/ft strips on a single power supply. IP65 outdoor wet location rating with a silicon coating that protects against the elements in outdoor environments while offering 3 color temperature choices of 2700k(Warm)-3000K(Warm White)-4000K(Cool White) to illuminate hardscaping, landscaping and architectural features. InvisiLED outdoor strips are field cuttable at the end of a run for maximum versatility and are available in 1ft, 5ft, 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, or 80ft rolls (80ft only available in 1.2w/ft option).

  • Field cut end connector creates a water-tight seal at the end of a field cut run. Fully enclosed IP65 outdoor wet location rated with a unique silicon coating that protects against the elements in outdoor environments. Power supply (Sold Separately Part # PS-24DC-U96R-WE) is IP 67 rated for outdoor installation as well.
  • InvisiLED Outdoor Strip Lights are available in 1.2W/ft and 2.4W/ft power options, 2700K(Warm)-3000K(Warm White)-4000K(Cool White) color temperature options, and 1ft, 5ft, 10ft, 20ft, or 40ft length options. Up to 100ft max run on the 1.2w/ft strips and up to 40ft on the 2.4W/ft strips on a single power supply.
  • Each strip includes a 6in lead with a male-to-female connector on each side to create a water-tight connection. InvisiLED Outdoor Strip Lights can be cut in the field every 4in and re-used by applying a field cut connector kit sold separately (Part # T24-WE-EX2-006-BK).
  • Smooth and continuous dimming with an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. Dimmers should be installed on the primary side of the transformer. Driver input voltage: 120V-220V-277V AC, Driver output voltage: 24V DC. Driver is available in a 96W max load.
  • High Powered LED: Color Temperature: 2700K, 3000K, or 4000K, 90+ CRI, Rated Hours: 80,000, Voltage: 24V, Lumen Options: 100+ lm/ft, or 200+ lm/ft.

1) What is the WAC T24-WE-EX2-006 end connector kit actually for?
It seals the cut end of a WAC InvisiLED 24VDC strip run. When you field cut the strip, the open end is exposed, and this kit caps it with a silicon sealant so the cut end keeps the IP65 wet location rating. Without it a field cut outdoor run is not sealed. Order it as T24-WE-EX2-006-BK.
2) Where can I cut WAC InvisiLED Outdoor strip light, and can I reuse the cut piece?
The strip is cuttable every 4 inches, and cut sections can be reused once you apply a field cut connector kit. The strip is designed to be cut at the end of a run.
3) Is the WAC InvisiLED outdoor strip light listed for wet locations?
UL and cUL Listed for Wet Locations. The strip itself is IP65, the power supply is IP67, and the system is CEC Title 24 and ADA compliant. That applies to a field cut end only if the cut is sealed with the end connector kit.
4) Do I need this end cap kit if I don't cut the strip?
No. Each InvisiLED Outdoor strip ships with a 6 inch lead and a male-to-female connector on each side that makes its own water-tight connection. The end cap kit only matters once you cut the strip and create an unsealed end.
5) What power supply do I need for a WAC InvisiLED 24V outdoor strip run?
The driver is sold separately, part PS-24DC-U96R-WE, IP67 rated for outdoor installation with a 96W max load. Input is 120V, 220V or 277V AC, output 24V DC. The end cap kit does not include a power supply.
6) How long a run can I put on one driver before I need a second one?
On the 1.2W/ft strip, up to 80ft on a single power supply; on the 2.4W/ft strip, up to 40ft. Plan your cuts and cap points around that, since a longer architectural or hardscape run needs a second supply.
7) Is the InvisiLED outdoor strip dimmable, and what dimmer do I use?
Yes, with an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer, and the dimmer goes on the primary side of the transformer, not between the driver and the strip. Wiring it on the secondary side will not dim it correctly.
8) Can this end connector kit be used on an indoor strip run too?
Yes. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use, same as the 24VDC InvisiLED strip it caps. Indoors the silicon sealant is not strictly needed for weather, but it still closes the cut end cleanly.
9) What finish does the WAC field cut end connector kit come in?
Black only, ordered as T24-WE-EX2-006-BK. There is no alternate color, so on a light colored hardscape the cap will read dark at the terminated end.
10) What color temperatures and output does the strip this kit terminates come in?
2700K warm, 3000K warm white, and 4000K cool white, all 90+ CRI at 24V with an 80,000 hour rating. Output is 100+ lm/ft on the 1.2W/ft version and 200+ lm/ft on the 2.4W/ft. Strip lengths run 1ft, 5ft, 10ft, 20ft and 40ft, with 80ft available only in 1.2W/ft.
