Designed for indoor and outdoor use, this durable and professional grade 24V strip light delivers superior color consistency and brightness throughout the strip. Up to 80ft max run on the 1.2w/ft strips and up to 40ft on the 2.4W/ft strips on a single power supply.   • Field cut end connector creates a water-tight seal at the end of a field cut run. Power supply (Sold Separately Part # PS-24DC-U96R-WE) is IP 67 rated for outdoor installation as well.
  • InvisiLED Outdoor Strip Lights are available in 1.2W/ft and 2.4W/ft power options, 2700K(Warm)-3000K(Warm White)-4000K(Cool White) color temperature options, and 1ft, 5ft, 10ft, 20ft, or 40ft length options. Up to 100ft max run on the 1.2w/ft strips and up to 40ft on the 2.4W/ft strips on a single power supply.
  • Each strip includes a 6in lead with a male-to-female connector on each side to create a water-tight connection. InvisiLED Outdoor Strip Lights can be cut in the field every 4in and re-used by applying a field cut connector kit sold separately (Part # T24-WE-EX2-006-BK).
  • Smooth and continuous dimming with an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. Dimmers should be installed on the primary side of the transformer. Driver input voltage: 120V-220V-277V AC, Driver output voltage: 24V DC. Driver is available in a 96W max load.
  • High Powered LED: Color Temperature: 2700K, 3000K, or 4000K, 90+ CRI, Rated Hours: 80,000, Voltage: 24V, Lumen Options: 100+ lm/ft, or 200+ lm/ft.

1) What does the WAC Lighting T24-WE-EC end cap actually do on an InvisiLED outdoor strip run?
The T24-WE-EC is a field cut end connector with silicon sealant that seals the cut end of a WAC InvisiLED 24VDC strip. When you trim a strip to length in the field, the exposed end loses its factory seal; this cap closes it back up water-tight so the run keeps its IP65 wet location rating. It is used on the terminating end of a run, not for joining two strips together.
2) Do I need an end cap every time I cut a WAC InvisiLED outdoor strip?
Yes. The outdoor strips are cuttable every 4 inches, and any cut you make opens the silicon jacket. Seal that end with the T24-WE-EC end cap, or the cut end is no longer protected against weather. Cutting is only intended at the end of a run.
3) Can I use the end cap to reconnect a piece of strip I cut off?
No. The end cap seals a terminating end only. To power up a cut-off section and reconnect it into a run, you need the field cut connector kit, part T24-WE-EX2-006-BK, sold separately. Order the end cap for the dead end and the connector kit for anything you want to re-feed.
4) What else do I need to order to finish an InvisiLED outdoor strip job besides the end caps?
Plan on three things beyond the strip itself: a power supply, which is sold separately as part PS-24DC-U96R-WE and is IP67 rated for outdoor mounting at 96W max load; field cut connector kits (T24-WE-EX2-006-BK) if you are re-feeding cut sections; and a T24-WE-EC end cap for each cut termination. If the run is dimmed, add an ELV or TRIAC dimmer on the primary side of the transformer.
5) Will the T24-WE-EC work on both the 1.2W/ft and 2.4W/ft InvisiLED outdoor strips?
It fits the WAC InvisiLED 24VDC indoor/outdoor strip line, which is offered in 1.2W/ft and 2.4W/ft. The cap seals the strip profile, so it is not tied to the wattage or to the 2700K, 3000K, or 4000K color temperature you picked.
6) Is this end cap rated for outdoor wet locations, or indoor only?
Both. The InvisiLED 24VDC strip system it seals is listed for indoor and outdoor use and is UL and cUL Listed for Wet Locations, with the strips carrying an IP65 rating. The end cap's silicon sealant is what keeps a field cut end inside that rating.
7) Does the end cap limit how long a run I can cut back to?
No, the cap does not affect run length. The limits come from the strip and driver: up to 80ft on the 1.2W/ft strips and up to 40ft on the 2.4W/ft strips from a single power supply. Cut anywhere on the 4 inch increments within that and seal the end.
8) What finish does the WAC T24-WE-EC end cap come in?
Clear is the only option. It reads as part of the strip's silicon jacket, so it stays visually unobtrusive on a hardscape or architectural cove installation rather than showing a colored terminator at the end of the run.
