1) Will the WAC Summit LED201 track head fit my existing track, or do I need WAC L-series track?
The LED201 Summit head is built with an L track connector, so it mounts to WAC L-series track only. It will not seat in a J-series or H-style (Halo-pattern) track. If your run is J or H track, you need the matching head for that connector rather than this one.
2) Can I use the WAC LED201 track head outside or in a covered patio?
No. The LED201 is an interior fixture with a dry location rating, so it is not suitable for outdoors, covered patios, bathrooms over a tub or shower, or any damp or wet spot. For those areas you need a fixture carrying a damp or wet location listing.
3) Does the WAC Summit LED201 come with the track, or do I have to order that separately?
Only the head is supplied. The LED201 is not a complete system, so the L track sections, feeds, connectors, and end caps are separate line items. Count your heads, then size the track length and the circuit feed around a 15 watt per head load.
4) How much light does the 15W WAC Summit LED201 put out, and what color is it?
Each Summit LED201 head draws 15 watts and delivers 660 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. CRI is 85, which is adequate for retail and gallery accenting where color accuracy matters. The LED module is integrated and comes with the fixture, so there is no lamp to buy.
5) Is the WAC LED201 track head dimmable, and what kind of dimmer do I need?
The LED201 is dimmable and runs on 120V line voltage, so it dims from a standard 120V wall dimmer rated for LED loads. At 15 watts per head you will likely need several heads on the circuit to reach the dimmer's minimum load, or a low-minimum LED dimmer, to avoid flicker and drop-out at the bottom of the range.
6) What beam angle does the WAC Summit LED201 have, and is it right for artwork or general accenting?
