Very little. The MT-116 trim has a 1/4 inch low profile and the Invisible Trim design sits flush to the ceiling, which is why it gets specified where a designer does not want a visible ring standing off the drywall.

One finish combination: White/White, ordered as MT-116-WT/WT. Trim and interior are both white, so it disappears into a white painted ceiling.
