1) What color temperatures does the WAC Lighting PD-17421 Cappe LED pendant come in?
The Cappe LED pendant is offered in four color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K, all in a black finish. The temperature is built into the part number, so PD-17421-27-BK is the 2700K version, PD-17421-30-BK the 3000K, PD-17421-35-BK the 3500K and PD-17421-40-BK the 4000K. Pick 2700K or 3000K for warm residential and hospitality spaces, 3500K or 4000K where you want a cooler, more neutral light in offices and retail.
2) If I'm ordering several Cappe pendants for one room, what do I need to match?
Match the color temperature code across every unit. The PD-17421 Cappe is built as a fixed-CCT pendant, not a field-selectable one, so a 3000K unit and a 3500K unit hung side by side will not match and cannot be adjusted after install. Order the whole run under one part number, for example all PD-17421-30-BK, and add a spare on the same number if you keep attic stock.
3) Does the PD-17421 Cappe pendant come in any finish other than black?
Black is the finish the Cappe pendant is built in; all four color temperature versions carry the BK finish code. If the job calls for a brass, nickel or white pendant, this is the wrong part number to spec and you'll want a different WAC Lighting pendant family.
4) Is the LED in the Cappe pendant replaceable, or is it an integrated fixture?
The Cappe is an integrated LED pendant, meaning there is no socket and no lamp to buy. You order it by color temperature at the time of purchase rather than changing the light source later, which is why 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K are separate part numbers.
