WAC Lighting PD-23412-27-BK – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What color temperatures and finishes can I order the WAC Lighting PD-23412 Gaze pendant in?
The PD-23412 Gaze LED pendant is built in four color temperatures, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K, each offered in Black or Brushed Nickel. That is eight orderable combinations, and every pairing exists, for example PD-23412-27-BK in 2700K Black and PD-23412-40-BN in 4000K Brushed Nickel.
2) I need several matching Gaze pendants over an island. Will fixtures ordered separately match?
They will if you order the same suffix on every one. Color temperature and finish are both locked into the Gaze part number, so ten pieces of PD-23412-30-BK all come 3000K in Black. Mixing a -27 with a -30 in the same run gives a visible difference in light color even though the fixtures look identical, so keep one suffix across the whole group.
3) How do I read the PD-23412 part number so I order the right Gaze pendant?
The Gaze pendant number is built in three parts: the PD-23412 base, then a two digit color temperature code, then a finish code. 27 is 2700K, 30 is 3000K, 35 is 3500K, 40 is 4000K; BK is Black and BN is Brushed Nickel. So PD-23412-35-BN is a 3500K pendant in Brushed Nickel. Quoting the full suffixed number is what keeps a reorder matching the fixtures already hanging.
4) Which color temperature of the Gaze pendant should I spec for a hotel lobby versus a commercial kitchen or office?
Pick by how warm you want the space to read. For hospitality and residential areas where a warm, lamp-like look matters, 2700K or 3000K are the usual choices. For offices, retail and back-of-house areas where crisper light helps, 3500K or 4000K are the ones to spec. All four are available on the Gaze pendant in both Black and Brushed Nickel, so the finish decision is independent of the color decision.
