3) Does the clear lens on the WAC T24-WE-CH5 diffuse the LEDs or will I see dots?
The channel is supplied with a clear cover, which passes maximum light but does not blur the individual emitters, so expect visible diodes in any sightline view. Where the strip is exposed to the eye, a frosted or diffused cover is the better choice; clear is the right pick for concealed cove and under-cabinet runs where only the wash is seen.
