1) Will the WAC Hug 52 inch ceiling fan work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
No. The Hug F-037L is a flush mount fan and is not rated for sloped ceilings, so it needs a flat, level ceiling. It hugs tight at 11.1 inches of overall height, which is why it works in low headroom rooms but can't be canted on an angled ceiling. For a vaulted room you need a downrod fan with a sloped-ceiling canopy instead.
2) Can the WAC Hug flush mount fan be installed on a covered patio or porch?
Yes, the Hug F-037L is a damp location rated fan, so a covered porch, patio ceiling, sunroom, or screened lanai is fine as long as it's shielded from direct rain and snow. Damp rated is not wet rated, so keep it out of any spot that takes blowing rain. The plywood blades and aluminum body are the same indoors or out.
3) Do I need to buy a light kit or a remote separately for the WAC Hug fan?
Neither. The Hug F-037L ships with the integrated LED light and the handheld remote in the box, plus the cap if you'd rather run it as a fan only.
