1) Can the WAC Mocha XL 66 inch ceiling fan be installed on a covered patio or other wet location?
Yes. The Mocha XL is rated for wet locations and listed for indoor or outdoor use, so covered patios, porches, and exposed exterior ceilings are all in scope. The blades are ABS and the housing is aluminum, which is why it holds up outdoors.
2) Does the WAC Mocha XL smart fan come with a light, or can I add a light kit later?
No light kit ships with it and the fan is not light kit adaptable, so there is no factory option to add one down the road. If the room needs the fan to be the light source, pick a different model. Note the fan does carry a frosted PC diffuser and a 35W LED load at 120V, so there is integrated LED on board, just not a separate accessory light kit.
3) Does the WAC F-064 ceiling fan meet California Title 24 and Title 20 for a new build?
It does. The Mocha XL is Title 24 JA8-2016 CEC compliant, Title 20 compliant, and Energy Star rated. Listings include ETL, cETL, UL, cUL, and CSA Canada, and the fan is ADA compliant. That covers a California permit set and Canadian work off the same model.
4) Does a remote come with the WAC Smart Fans F-064, or do I have to order a wall control separately?
A remote is in the box. The fan runs six speeds off a reversible DC motor, so you get forward for summer airflow and reverse for winter destratification without a separate switch at the motor.

Three finishes: Brushed Aluminum (F-064-BA), Matte Black (F-064-MB), and Matte White (F-064-MW). Same 66 inch 8-blade body in each, so you can mix finishes across units in a building and keep the layout and clearances identical.
6) Can I install the WAC F-064 tight to the ceiling without a downrod?
It's a downrod-mount fan, and the canopy cap is included for that mount. Overall height is 16 inches. For a low ceiling where you cannot give up that drop, choose a flush or hugger-style fan instead.
7) Are the blades on the WAC Mocha XL reversible to change the look?
No, the eight ABS blades are single-finish and not reversible. If you want a different look you change the fan finish, not the blade face. The motor is the reversible part here, for seasonal airflow direction.
