Watco 939290-BZ Series Oil-Rubbed Bronze Bath Waste Trim Kit

The Watco 939290-BZ Series bath waste trim kit is finished in Oil-Rubbed Bronze and is designed to pair with compatible Watco tub and lavatory drain and overflow assemblies. This trim kit is offered under two model references – 01024-BZ and 939290-BZ – both sharing the same Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish and series trim design, giving plumbers and contractors a consistent finish-matched option regardless of which model reference is called out on the job. As the visible finish component of a Watco waste system, this trim kit lets installers match the drain and overflow hardware to the surrounding fixture finish package on a remodel or new construction install. Watco is a long-standing, trade-recognized name in bath waste and overflow trim, and the Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish is intended to coordinate with darker faucet and fixture finishes commonly specified on higher-end tub and lavatory installations.

Watco 01024-BZ – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is the difference between Watco 01024-BZ and 939290-BZ?
Nothing in the finish or the trim design. Both are model references for the same Watco 939290-BZ Series bath waste trim kit in Oil-Rubbed Bronze, so order whichever number the spec or the job sheet calls out and you get the same finish-matched trim.
2) Does the Watco Oil-Rubbed Bronze trim kit include the drain and overflow assembly?
No. The 939290-BZ Series kit is the visible finish trim only, meant to be installed on a compatible Watco waste and overflow assembly. If you are doing a new rough-in rather than a trim-out, you need the waste and overflow body as a separate line item.
3) Will this Watco trim kit fit a non-Watco tub waste and overflow?
It is specified to pair with compatible Watco tub and lavatory drain and overflow assemblies. Fit on another manufacturer's waste body is not something to assume, so for a remodel where the existing waste is an unknown brand, plan on replacing the waste with a Watco assembly or verify the existing body is Watco before ordering trim alone.
4) I need dark bronze bath drain trim to match my faucets - is Oil-Rubbed Bronze the right pick?
Oil-Rubbed Bronze is the finish on this Watco 939290-BZ Series trim, and it is meant to coordinate with darker faucet and fixture trim packages. If your faucet package is a dark bronze, this gets the drain and overflow trim onto the same finish family instead of leaving a chrome plate in the tub.
5) Can this Watco trim kit be used on a lavatory as well as a tub?
Yes. The 939290-BZ Series Oil-Rubbed Bronze trim is called out for tub and lavatory drain trim-out, so it covers both applications where a matching Watco waste and overflow assembly is in place.
6) Is this OEM Watco trim or an aftermarket replacement plate?
OEM. It is Watco's own 939290-BZ Series trim, which is why the finish and fit stay consistent across the rest of a Watco drain assembly rather than leaving you matching a generic plate to a factory body.
