The RA-2-AP angle valve takes 1-1/4 inch female IPS threads on the inlet and a 1-1/4 inch union joint on the outlet. So the inlet threads onto your 1-1/4 inch iron supply riser, and the outlet uses a union nut and tailpiece into the radiator bushing, which lets you break the connection to pull the radiator without cutting pipe.

Yes. The RA-2-AP is a radiator supply valve rated to 15 psi on steam and 250 degrees F, which covers standard low pressure one-pipe and two-pipe steam heating. On water it is good to 60 psi.
3) Is the Watts RA-2-AP lead free and can I use it on potable water?
No. The RA-2-AP is a brass valve that is not lead free, so it is for hydronic heating service only, not drinking water lines. If the job needs a potable-rated shutoff, specify a lead-free valve instead.
