Handing is not a concern here. The Hudson knob is non-handed and the spindle design is dual square, so the same unit works on an inswing or outswing door and on either hand. You set the latch backset and mount it. Nothing has to be reversed or specified by hand when ordering.

No. The Weslock 2810 Hillcrest is a bored lockset with a 2-1/8 inch cross bore, a 5-1/2 inch center to center handleset prep and adjustable 2-3/8 inch to 2-3/4 inch backset latches. 9) What is the difference between the Weslock 2810 Hillcrest and the Kwikset 687 Amador handleset?
The Kwikset 687AMD SMT Amador and 687AMD SMC Amador are Grade 3 single cylinder keyed entry handlesets for 1-3/4 inch doors, and both are exterior only, so an interior knob or lever is not included. If your jamb currently has square corner strikes mortised in, the round strikes will not fill that cutout cleanly and you will see the old mortise. Plan on either using the supplied round strikes with a fresh jamb prep or reusing your existing square strikes if the latch faceplate lines up.
15) Do I have to choose anything when ordering the Weslock 2810 Hillcrest handleset?
Two decisions. Finish, oil rubbed bronze or satin nickel. And keying, which is a required free choice between keyed different and keyed alike.
