Acrylic holds up better to impact in corridors and stairwells where a cart or a shoulder catches the door; tempered glass keeps its clarity and resists scratching and cleaner haze over time, which is why it tends to get specified in lobbies and other finished public areas.

Die cut lettering is an add-on option on the Williams Brothers recessed cabinets, in red, white, or black. You can run the text vertically down the door, horizontally across it, or use the Type A layout. There is also an international extinguisher symbol option in red or black for facilities that standardize on the pictogram rather than English text. Match the color to the door and glazing so the lettering reads from down the corridor, and keep one layout across the building so the units look like a set.
