Metallics RLCK5 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is the Metallics RLCK5 one kit or a box of several?
One piece per kit. If you are hanging a run of fixtures or a length of strut, order one RLCK5 per support point.
2) How much drop can I get from a 5 foot Kwik-Loc kit?
Five feet of 3/32 inch cable is the full length supplied, so your maximum drop is under 5 feet once you account for the loop at the structure and the gripper takeoff. For deeper plenums or long drops from deck to a low ceiling, step up to a longer Kwik-Loc cable length rather than splicing this one.
3) Is the RLCK5 cable kit an electrical trade item or general rigging hardware?
Metallics catalogues the RLCK5 Kwik-Loc kit as electrical trade hardware, the kind of 3/32 inch cable hanger electricians use to suspend fixtures, raceway and strut from structure above a ceiling.
