The 418 external elbow is made for Wiremold 400 and 800 Series surface raceway, so it drops onto either base and cover run. It is sized at 1.5 in wide to match that raceway profile. If your run is a different Wiremold series, the elbow will not seat correctly.
2) Is the Wiremold 418 elbow metal or plastic, and what color is it?
Plastic, in ivory.
