The Accentra 5405LN delivers Grade 1 performance for demanding commercial applications with adjustable door thickness from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" and standard 2-3/4" backset configuration. This heavy-duty cylindrical lockset features a 1/2" stainless steel latchbolt throw with deadlocking guardbolt and brass 6-pin keyed-random cylinder with two keys furnished standard. ANSI/BHMA A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 1 certified and UL/cUL fire-rated up to 3 hours for reliable commercial door security.

Installation & Operation

1. Review manufacturer specifications and verify door preparation requirements including door thickness from 1-3/4" to 2-1/4", standard 2-3/4" backset, and proper handing as applicable to this product.
2. Use manufacturer-provided templates to mark mounting hole locations accurately on door and frame surfaces for the 2-1/4" x 1-1/8" beveled front.
3. Prepare door and frame by drilling required holes and routing as specified in manufacturer instructions for cylindrical lockset installation.
4. Install all mounting hardware including thrubolting components and secure the device to door and frame per manufacturer torque specifications.
5. Adjust operational components including the Free Wheeling lever mechanism for proper alignment, latching, and smooth operation throughout the full range of motion.
6. Test device operation including latchbolt throw, guardbolt deadlocking function, and lever return spring operation to verify proper function and make final adjustments as needed. Refer to manufacturer documentation for complete installation details and troubleshooting.
