1) Will the Yale New Traditions Terra keyed entry knob fit a standard 2-1/8 inch bored door?
Yes. The Terra knobset drops into the standard residential prep: a 2-1/8 inch cross bore in the face of the door and a 1 inch edge bore for the latch. If the door already has a knob or lever in it, the holes are almost certainly already right and no new boring is needed.
2) What door thickness does the Yale Terra YR700T entry knob work on?
1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch. That covers both the thinner older interior doors and the 1-3/4 inch doors used on most exterior and newer openings, so a single part number works across a mixed building. A door thicker than 1-3/4 inches is out of range for this knobset.
3) Do I have to order the Yale Terra knob in a specific hand for my door?
No handing to specify. The Terra knobset is field reversible, so the same box works on a left or right hand door and you set it at install. Order by finish and keying only.
4) Can I get several Yale Terra entry knobs on one key so a single key opens all of them?
Yes. Keying is a required choice when you order: KD keyed different gives each lock its own key, KA keyed alike puts every lock you order together on one key.
