Metallics MWRC134 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What size wire rope does the Metallics MWRC134 clip fit?
The MWRC134 is a 1-3/4 inch wire rope clip, so it is sized for 1-3/4 inch diameter wire rope. Clips are rope-size specific, a smaller diameter cable will not seat correctly in the saddle, so match the clip size to the rope you are terminating.
2) How many wire rope clips do I need per termination?
A single MWRC134 is one clip. Wire rope terminations are normally made with multiple clips spaced along the dead end, so order by the count your termination requires rather than assuming one clip finishes the job.
