Metallics TL12 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Metallics TL12 cable wrap used for?
The TL12 is a twist-style nylon cable wrap, 1/2 inch size, used to bundle and dress wire and cable runs. Being a twist-style wrap, it wraps spirally around a bundle rather than ratcheting shut like a cable tie, so you can add or pull conductors out of the bundle later without cutting anything off.
2) Does the Metallics TL12 come in more than one size?
The TL12 is sold as a single model, in the 1/2 inch twist-style wrap size. If you need a different bundle capacity, you are looking at a different Metallics model number rather than an option on the TL12.
3) Is the Metallics TL12 wrap nylon or metal?
Nylon. The TL12 is a non-metallic wrap, so it will not scar conductor insulation and does not add a metal path against the cable bundle.
